Skin Problems

Acne, hair loss, blemished skin, and skin inflammation

The Story

I’d been having problems with my skin for a while, suffering from spots and even full-blown acne at times. I tried countless products to get my blemishes under control, but nothing really helped. In addition, I started losing a lot of hair quite early. Thinning areas were particularly noticeable on the top and back of my head. Due to my hair loss, I had problems styling my hair and bringing it into shape - I was simply dissatisfied and wanted to change so- mething. I was keen to get both my skin and hair problem under control and was looking for options.

The Journey

My wife introduced me to Biogena products, and I decided to try to remedy my skin and hair problems with micronutrients. To get rid of my skin blemishes, I decided to take MiraSkin® Gold and ImmunoMyk®. Both supplements contain a combination of selected vitamins, structure-supporting nutrients and plant extracts, all of which contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. D-Biotin® contains Biotin vitamin and pantothenic acid, which is particularly important for hair. I was confident that my skin blemishes and hair loss could be tackled by taking the products.

The Success

I’ve been taking the various products for 1.5 - 2 years now, and I’m thrilled! After just one month taking D-Biotin®, my hair started to grow again. So much of my hair has returned that styling it is no longer a problem for me - not all that long ago it looked completely different. Thanks to MiraSkin® Gold and ImmunoMyk®, my skin blemishes are now very much under control, and I feel great. All in all, I can say that both my skin and hair problems have improved 100% since taking the micronutrients.

Lifestyle Changes

The skin, as the mirror of the soul, can undergo negative changes as a result of persistent stress. Under stress, the body releases male hormones, cortisol and adrenaline. This hormone excess stimulates the sebaceous glands and leads to oily, blemished skin, even acne. Increased stress often leads to an unhealthy lifestyle too. Together, these two factors form an undesirable duo, and the skin suffers. So relax regularly and watch what you eat.

The Scientific Assessment

By Michael Wäger

There are various creams and ointments to treat acne, but systemic treatment is more thorough. This involves special key nutrients such as hyaluron, glucosamine and zinc, in addition to some supporting nutrients. Hyaluron stimulates collagen and elastin formation, increases wound healing and can counteract the breakdown of collagen in inflammatory processes. Glucosamine also accelerates wound healing by stimulating the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, reduces wrinkles and improves the moisture content of the skin. Zinc leads to a reduction in sebaceous gland activity and a normalisation of sebum flow.
